An Eye for Talent

At the recent star-studded opening of the Ali Center (which was such a large event, that several gatherings took place at the Kentucky Center), Julia Youngblood was able to capture two boxing greats in front of our Art-o-mat machine! These two pillars of boxing history, Bert Sugar & Angelo Dundee, are worth the Google for persons in need of more information.

Wahey! Off to the U.K.

While building our first international Art-o-mat machine, we were introduced to the word "wahey" through e-mail. From our research, the term seems to indicate excitement. Regardless of the true meaning, all of us here at A.I.C. World Headquarters could not be more excited to be shipping a machine to The Gallery on the Green in Surrey. England. This venue is a very significant next step for our network and will be a great opportunity for current and future Art-o-mat artists to literally share their art with people around the world.

This past Sunday, we displayed the refurbished 1960's era machine at Mary's of Course Cafe (the original Art-o-venue). Brunch patrons were invited to sign the shipping crate and wish the machine a safe journey. The adults mainly signed the top of the crate and it was looking kinda sparse. But, once the kiddies discovered that they were invited to scribble as well, the lower half was quickly filled up.

The machine will be in operation in January.
