"As founder of the Art-o-Mat, retired cigarette vending machines which have been converted into a fine art installations, I had a difficult time finding anyone who would take our business seriously.

"Since what we do is unconventional, It was common for body shops to cut corners while raising their prices. In 2002 after overhearing my frustration with another shop, Phil approached me and stated, 'I am going to be your painter from now on.'

"Upon my inspection of the first machine he restored, it was clear that his work was exceptional. As the public expectation of our project grew, so did Phil's understanding of our needs.
